Wednesday night, Officers observed a vehicle speeding. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle in the area of West Broadway Boulevard and Oak Grove Lane. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Micah D. Richey, 22, of La Monte, was arrested and transported to the Sedalia Police Department. Richey then provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be above 0.08. Richey was also found to be in possession of marijuana. Richey was issued a UTT for Driving While Intoxicated and released to a sober driver.

Sedalia Police initiated a traffic stop at West 3rd Street and South Moniteau Avenue on a tan Chrysler car because the registration was expired Wednesday night. The driver provided their information. Their information was relayed to Dispatch, who confirmed the driver's status was suspended. Joseph E. Fore, 39 of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended. Fore was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.

Early Thursday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a passenger vehicle near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Carr Avenue. A passenger was identified inside the vehicle and found to have several Failure to Appear warrants for Driving While Suspended. Two warrants were out of Pettis County, another was out of Sedalia. Eric Joseph Thomas, 20, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked in on a $560 bond.

Sedalia Police responded to the Casey's store, 120 East 16th Street, for a report of a disturbance Wednesday night. When Officers arrived on the scene, a female was located and identified. The female was found to have two active warrants for her arrest. One warrant was a Failure to Appear on original charges of felony Assault in the 3rd Degree (Special Victim) out of Henry County, and another was a Probation Violation warrant on original charges of felony Possession of a Controlled Substance from Dent County. Michaela E. Hamilton, 26, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be held on no bond.

Officers responded to the 600 block of South Moniteau Avenue for a report of an unknown incident Wednesday night. When Officers arrived, it was determined there had been an argument between two people. One left the scene before Officers arrived.

Wednesday morning, Sedalia Police recognized a wanted subject in the 2200 block of West Main Street. When Officer attempted to detain the suspect in handcuffs, he pulled away and resisted arrest. He had a Failure to Appear warrant out of Pettis County on original charges of three counts of Assault in the 4th Degree (Special Victims) and Resisting Arrest. Dustin Earl Bailey, 35, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be held without bond. A new charge of Resisting Arrest will be submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office.

On the afternoon of June 3rd, Officers stopped a vehicle near the intersection of North Park Avenue and West Benton Street after observing the registration was expired. A computer check of the driver showed he did not have a valid license. Seth Ryan Bourque, 33, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest for Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway Without A Valid License. Bourque was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.
