Sedalia Police Reports For July 13, 2023

Tuesday evening, Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of South Brown Avenue regarding a subject not breathing. Life saving efforts were attempted, however, the subject was pronounced deceased. No foul play is suspected.
Wednesday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of South Engineer Avenue for a disturbance. Investigation revealed that a resident of the house had brandished a knife at another, placing them in apprehension of being injured. Lori Lynn Hadley, 51, of Sedalia, was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree. Hadley was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be held pending the filing of charges.
Sedalia Police took a report of a stolen cell phone Thursday morning. The theft occurred on July 5th in the 1700 block of West Broadway Boulevard. A theft report was taken.
Officers were dispatched to the office of Probation and Parole for reports of a subject present with a warrant for their arrest. Officers arrived on scene, and confirmed the existence of a probation violation warrant from District 29C. The warrant stemmed from a probation violation on original charges from 2018 of felony Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated. Clayton Daniel Alcorn, 60, of Sedalia, was arrested on his warrant and transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.
Sunday morning, Officers responded to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, in reference to a theft. The store had located two subjects stealing items in the store by failing to scan them as they were checking out. Edgar Cac May, 20, of Sedalia, and Gerson Edwin Choc Cac, 18, of Sedalia, were both arrested for Stealing. The total value of the items stolen was set at $176.03. Both were ultimately released pending charges.
