Late Wednesday night, Officers responded to the 500 block of East 4th Street for a report of a disturbance in progress. After speaking with the subjects involved, a primary aggressor was determined. Joseph Elmer Fore, 40, of Sedalia, was arrested for felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Fore was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked.


Sedalia Police responded to the 500 block of East 14th Street in reference to a domestic disturbance Wednesday night. Following the investigation on scene, one subject was found to have assaulted her mother. The suspect was arrested and transported to the BRHC, where she was deemed fit for confinement. Trista G. Kendrick, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested for felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Kendrick was then placed on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail. The victim sustained minor visible injury.


Officers performed a warrant check in the 1300 block of East 24th Street Wednesday night for a wanted subject. Contact was made with the subject, and a check through Dispatch showed she had a Taney County Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, and two Pettis County Failure to Appear warrants. One of the Pettis County FTA warrants was on an original charge of misdemeanor Driving While Revoked, and two felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Renee Dawn Reynolds, 52, of Sedalia, was arrested on her warrants and transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


On the afternoon of May 26th, Officers spoke with Joseph P. Afatarly over the phone in reference to fraud. Afatarly reported he had been scammed online.


Wednesday afternoon, Floyd T. Gilmore spoke to Officers at the Police Department regarding a theft. Gilmore wished to report the theft of a bicycle belonging to his son. The bike is a boy’s lime green and silver 20-inch Next bicycle. The bicycle had been taken from his residence during the early morning hours the previous day.

Sedalia Police spoke with Amy J. Towns Wednesday morning at the Sedalia Police Department. Towns reported she had used her passport last week, and since using it has not been able to locate it. A report was completed at the request of the owner for documentation purposes.


Wednesday morning, Officers responded to the 200 block of Thompson Road for a report of a subject present with an active Pettis County warrant. Christopher W. Hughes, 37, of Sedalia, was arrested for his Probation Violation warrant on original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Hughes was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a cash bond of $2,000 and a surety bond of $2,500.


An Officer responded to the 2700 block of Highway U for a theft report Wednesday morning. A report was completed for the items taken.


Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 400 block of East Walnut Street early Wednesday morning in reference to a report of trespassing. When Officers arrived, they made contact with the suspect, then spoke to the caller. The caller stated she did not know the individual, and he was asked to leave multiple times. He refused to leave her property. The suspect was arrested. Hakeem S. Dickson, 26, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in on charges of Trespassing in the 1st Degree.
