Tuesday night, officers responded to the Jiffy Lube, 2801 West Broadway Boulevard for reports of a subject passed out in the parking lot. When Officers arrived, they located the subject and identified him. After checking his information with Dispatch, it was confirmed he had an active warrant out of Pettis County on charges of Resisting Arrest. Shawn Cunningham, 50, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a cash or surety bond of $2500.


 

Tuesday night, Officers were dispatched to the American Inn, 1217 South Limit Avenue in reference to a domestic physical disturbance. During the course of the investigation, it was revealed a rape and domestic assault had occurred. Jason T. Milburn, 45, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Rape in the 2nd Degree and felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree*. Milburn was transported to the Pettis County Jail. While investigating the disturbance, Officers made contact with Christina D. Harms, 44, of Harrisonville. Harms was interviewed as a witness to the incident. While running Harm's information through Dispatch, it was discovered she had a warrant for her arrest from Johnson County. Harms was arrested for her Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Failure to Display or Affix a License Plate. Bond for Harms was set at $200 cash only.

Tuesday night, Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of South Limit Avenue in reference to a stolen wallet. Officers spoke with Kelsey J Fisher and generated a report.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of South Osage Avenue in reference to a property damage report. Officers spoke with Cerina Elliot and gathered information to generate a report.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers responded to the 400 block of West 20th Street in reference to a deceased person. When Officers arrived on scene with medical personnel, it was determined that the subject was deceased. At the request of the family, the body was released to a local funeral home for further arrangements. No foul play was suspected.


 

Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East 3rd Street for a report of property damage. Officers arrived on scene, spoke to a representative from Furnell Construction, and generated a report.


 

*23PT-DR00563 in Casenet notes Milburn is in violation of an order of protection. There has been a warrant issued in the case for Failure to Appear.

**Casenet 22cA-CR01264-01 notes that Harms was placed on 5 years probation on a charge of felony Possession of a Controlled Substance on June 25th, of 2024.
