Saturday night, Officers observed a passenger car travelling at high rate of speed on West Broadway Boulevard. As Officers attempted to catch up to the vehicle, it was weaving through traffic. Officers conducted a traffic stop at West Broadway Boulevard and South Moniteau Avenue. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. It was also discovered the subject had four Failure to Appear warrants form Pettis County and the City of Sedalia. Michael Torres Alejo, 23, of Sedalia, was arrested and provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be above 0.08. Torres Alejo was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked on his Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of No Operator's License, two counts of Driving While Suspended, Operating a Motor Vehicle With out Maintaining Financial Responsibility, and Speeding (16-19 MPH). New charges of Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Suspended, Careless Driving, and Speeding. The warrants had a total bond of $800.


 

Early Monday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of East 7th Street and South Merriam Avenue. Officers identified the driver and checked his information with Dispatch. He was found to have an active Parole Violation warrant on original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Frederick Curry, 43, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of East 13th Street in reference to a report of property damage. Ezra Dean Rhodes spoke with Officers. Rhodes stated when he came home, he found his television tipped over and broken. The television was valued at $2,000. No arrests have been made.


 

Police responded to the 2100 block of South Limit Avenue in reference to a male subject dumpster diving Sunday night. Officers identified the subject, and asked him to move along.


 

Sunday evening, Officers responded to the 1000 block of South Osage Avenue in reference to a disturbance with a weapon. Officers spoke with the reporting party, who stated her neighbor had threatened her with a knife. The suspect has been identified, and charges have been requested.


 

Late Saturday night, Officers attempted to stop a vehicle they observed making improper turns in the area near West Broadway Boulevard and South Warren Avenue. The vehicle, which did not display registration plates, failed to stop and a low speed pursuit ensued. The vehicle finally came to a stop at West 7th Street and South Missouri Avenue. The driver was detained, and it was discovered he did not have a driver's license. Salvador Torress, 20, of Neosho, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released pending charges of felony Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a Valid License, and felony Resisting Arrest.

On the afternoon of June 30th, Officer performed a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of East 16th Street and South Marvin Avenue on a silver SUV. The vehicle was exceeding the speed limit. The vehicle attempted to evade Officers by leaving the roadway and travelling through yards. Eventually, it came to a stop. Kipter Dinney, 30, of Knob Noster, was found to be intoxicated and unlicensed. Dinney was transported to the BRHC and then the Pettis County Jail, to be booked in on charges of Driving While Intoxicated, Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a Valid License, Careless Driving, and Speeding.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 700 block of East 14th Street in reference to disturbance Sunday night. Information was given regarding a suspect who had assaulted a subject at the residence. The suspect left, but was contacted a short time later. After further investigation, the suspect was placed under arrest. Jeffrey Robert Stoney, 31, Homeless, was arrested for felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Stoney was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24 hour hold.


 

Officers stopped a pick up truck for an equipment violation in the area of East Fifth Street and South Engineer Avenue Sunday night. During the contact, the driver was found to have an active arrest warrant from Pettis County for Theft. Tony Lee Lawson, 46, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a cash or surety bond of $10,000.


 

Saturday morning, Officers responded to the 800 block of North New York Avenue in reference to a disturbance. Officers spoke with both parties involved. They stated they had an argument, and were calmed down. A 12 hour log was completed.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the Sonic restaurant, 300 West Broadway Boulevard, in reference to a male subject masturbating in the parking lot early Saturday morning. Officers spoke with the reporting party, who stated a male subject pulled into one of the stalls. When the car hop went out to check on him, she witnessed him masturbating in his truck. The suspect then fled the scene and has not been identified.


 

On the afternoon of June 27th, a male subject came into the lobby of the Police Department to report a theft. Calvin Dillon reported some of his checks were stolen from the 200 block of East 6th Street. The checks were being written out and cashed.


 

Saturday afternoon, Ira Newbill brought a wallet to the Police Department. Newbill found the wallet at Hubbard Park, 601 North Missouri Avenue. The Officer made multiple attempts to return the wallet, but was unsuccessful. The wallet was entered into evidence for safe keeping.


 

Officers conducted a traffic stop at the Thompson Hills Shopping Center, 3101 West Broadway Boulevard Saturday evening. The driver's information was checked with Dispatch, and she was found to have a revoked driver's license. Jasmina Llnitskaya, 20, of Kalispell Montana, was arrested for Driving While Revoked and then transported to the Sedalia Police Department. llnitskaya was released with a City Summons.


 

Sunday morning, Officers responded to the 1100 block of East 11th Street in refence to a an overdose. Officers located the male subject on the floor, unresponsive. Officers administered NARCAN and the first responders started medical treatment. The male subject was transported by PCAD to the BRHC.


 

Saturday night, Officers responded to the 1000 block of East 7th Street in reference to a disturbance. Officers spoke with both parties, who stated they got into an argument and it got physical. Officers were unable to determine a primary aggressor. Both parties were separated and a 12 hour log was completed.


 

On the night of June 30th, Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of West 7th Street in reference to a civil matter. The caller explained that his land lords had changed the locks to his residence and told him to get out. The caller said he was never evicted, and provided receipts he said were from his rent payments. The land lord was contacted, and refused to allow the subject to enter the apartment. The subject forced entry into the residence. The landlord then called again, wanting to report property damage. They were informed it was a civil matter.


 

Saturday evening, Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of East 4th Street in reference to a report of domestic assault. A primary physical aggressor could not determined, so a 12 hour log was implemented.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Ivy Lane in reference to a domestic disturbance Saturday afternoon. The victim's husband showed up, demanding her driver's license. When the victim refused, the suspect grabbed her by the throat and by her hair. The suspect ripped his hand away, leaving a deep scratch on the victim's throat. The suspect left the scene before Officers arrived.


 

On the afternoon of June 26th, Officers were dispatched to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard to investigate a report of theft. Upon arrival, Officers met with a manager, who stated that on June 23rd, a set of keys went missing. The manager began watching security footage, and found where a suspect had taken the set of keys and walked out of the store. The suspect was identified, and charges of theft are being submitted.


 

Friday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the Lobby of the Police Department in reference to a theft report. Jesus Reyes stated while he was working out at Anytime Fitness, 110 West 3rd Street on the night of June 26th, someone stole cash out of his wallet.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 500 block of North Stewart Avenue Sunday morning. A resident found a baggie of what was confirmed to be cocaine in the street. The drugs were taken to the Police Department, where they were entered into evidence for destruction.


 

Officers responded to the intersection of South Limit Avenue and West 18th Street Saturday afternoon in reference to a hit and run accident. Upon arrival, Officers met with the victim who stated she was northbound on Limit Avenue near the intersection, when a black Chevrolet pickup exited a private lot and struck her passenger side, causing damage. The Chevrolet's driver said "Sorry", then left the scene without providing information.


 

On the evening of June 30th, Officers were dispatched to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, in reference to a report of theft that occurred the day before. Upon arrival, Officers met with Asset Protection. The caller stated they had a subject come in and select an item from the shelf and then walk up front and return it without actually purchasing it. The suspect was later located. Kristi Elizabeth Tittsworth, 30, of Sedalia, was arrested for Shoplifting.


 

Last Wednesday morning, Officers were dispatched to the Police Station lobby in regards to found property. Brittney J. Marriott stated a dog had found a small bag that contained an ID and several other insurance cards in the area of East 16th Street and South Ohio Avenue.


 

On June 17th, Officers were dispatched to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, for a report of theft that occurred on June 15th. Upon arrival, Officers met with a member of Asset Protection. The APA stated on the 15th, he confronted a suspect that was placing merchandise in a backpack. The employee stated that the subject walked out of the store with approximately $222.00 worth of merchandise. The employee was able to get a picture of the suspect and their vehicle. The suspect was later located and arrested. Brennah D. Bower, 35, of Sedalia, was arrested for Shoplifting.


 

Friday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the Pettis County Community Partnership, 417 West Pettis Street in reference to property damage. One of the patrons of the Community Café cut the internet cables to the café. Mark T. Prall, 61, Homeless, was arrested for Property Damage in the 2nd Degree.


 

Last Tuesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to a property damage report in the 700 block of West 3rd Street. The suspect broke a glass pane on a storm door before leaving prior to Officer's arrival. Charges for Property damage are being referred to the city prosecutor.
