Sedalia Police Reports for July 29, 2022

Early Friday morning, Officers took a theft report in the 1000 block of South Osage Avenue. Brandon Blackburn stated that when he was leaving for work, he noticed his shed was open and his mini bike and ring camera were stolen. No suspects have been identified at this time.
Thursday afternoon, Officers responded to the 1100 block of East 10th Street for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the subjects present. Dispatch advised that one of the subjects, the suspect, had an active Sedalia Municipal Warrant. The warrant was confirmed. Dana M. Green, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested for her Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway While License Suspended. Green was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $100 cash only bond.
On the morning of July 28th, Officers responded to the 500 block of East 12th Street in reference to a possible disturbance. A couple got into an argument at the residence, which reportedly turned physical. Neither party had any visible injuries. Officers were unable to determine a primary physical aggressor. A report was completed for a 12 hour domestic violence log, but no charges are being pursued at this time.
Wednesday evening, Officers were dispatched to the area of South Moniteau Avenue and West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a hit and run crash. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed from the scene. During the investigation, Officers were advised by Dispatch the driver had two Failure to Appear warrants from Platte County. A Probation Bond Violation had also been filed out of Platte County. The first warrant was a Failure to Appear on original charges of Speeding with a cash only bond of $134. The second warrant was a Failure to Appear on charges of Driving While Revoked with a bond of $247 cash only. The Probation Bond Violation was on original charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon and felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Marri S. Buckner, 24, of Sedalia, was arrested on the warrants and transported to the Pettis County Jail.
