Sedalia Police Reports for July 26, 2023

Early Wednesday morning, Officers were called to a traffic complaint in the 1300 block of South Engineer Avenue. On scene investigation found one male subject to have a warrant out of Pettis County for Failure to Appear on original charges of Operating a Vehicle on the Highway Without A Valid License. Larry D. Limback, 60, of Smithton, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked pending a cash only bond of $150.00.
Saturday night, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the area of East Broadway Boulevard and Airpark Road. The vehicle was observed not properly displaying a registration plate and failing to maintain its lane of travel. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. During a search of the vehicle, a small bag containing Cocaine was located. Joshua Allan Couch, 41, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Couch was transported to the SPD where he provided a breath sample on a DMT that showed his BAC to be above 0.08. Couch was then transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.
Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop near East Broadway Boulevard and South Marvin Avenue on a vehicle they observed speeding last Thursday night. During the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Ezekiel Paul Ellsworth, 26, of Pettis County, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Ellsworth was transported to the SPD where he provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be above 0.08. Ellsworth was then transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released to a sober driver.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle they observed failing to maintain its lane near West Broadway Boulevard and South Warren Avenue Sunday morning. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Jeff Sango, 32, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Sango was transported to the SPD where he provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be above 0.08. Sango was issued a UTT for DWI and released.
Tuesday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Dundee Avenue for a report regarding a domestic disturbance situation in the past. Upon arrival, Officers gathered enough information to generate a report and arrest the suspect. Brandon Nicholas Bom, 31, of Sedalia, was arrested Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree and Stealing. Bom was booked and released, awaiting formal charges.
Tuesday night, Officers responded to the 100 block of South Stewart Avenue in reference to an unresponsive subject. Officers and First Responders on scene conducted life saving efforts. Despite the efforts, the male subject was pronounced deceased. Family was notified.
Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 300 block of West 7th Street for a report of theft Tuesday morning. Christina Rene Leimkuehler reported that over the last three months, someone has been taking her Social Security money. Leimkuehler said she is missing a total of $2,550.00.
Monday morning, Officers responded to the 1100 block of East Broadway Boulevard in reference to a property damage report. Crystal Estelle Riggs stated that when she came into work, she noticed a window was broken. There appeared to be no signs of forced entry or any other damage. At this time, no suspect has been identified.
