Early Friday morning, Officers responded to the 1300 block of East Boonville for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers spoke to the victim, who said her husband threatened her and, at the time, was not allowing her to leave. This occurred near McAnally Court. The Pettis County Sheriff's Office assisted Officers at the scene. A state charge of Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree was submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor's office.


 

Officers initiated a traffic stop on a truck for a defective license plate light near East Broadway and South New York Thursday night. A check through Dispatch showed the driver's license is barred out of Iowa. A search of the vehicle found a handgun and marijuana. Dale Lee Anson II, 30, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24 hour hold pending state charges of Driving While Suspended and Unlawful Possession of a Concealable Weapon.


 

Late Thursday night, Officers responded to the 300 block of McAnally Court for a report of a stabbing. At the scene, a subject was located that suffered injuries to his head. The subject was transported to the BRHC for treatment. The subject did not want to pursue charges, but identified the other parties involved. A report was generated for documentation.


 

Sedalia Police performed a traffic stop at South Grand Avenue and West 16th Street for multiple license plate violations Thursday night. Officers developed probable cause to search the vehicle and located a small amount of marijuana. The marijuana was seized to be destroyed, and no citation was issued at this time.


 

Thursday morning, Officers responded to the area of West 4th Street and South Moniteau Avenue for a report of a dog running loose, chasing a person jogging. Contact was made with the owner of the dog, Ruby Angeline Rochin, 36, of Sedalia. Rochin was issued a city summons for Animal At Large with a court date.


 

Thursday night, Officers initiated a traffic stop on a car for expired registration near South Kentucky Avenue and West 9th Street. A check through Dispatch showed the driver had an active Failure to Appear warrant from Pettis County on original charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Madison Leigh Boersma, 24, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, with bond set at $250 cash only.


 

Officers conducted a vehicle stop near the intersection of Winchester Drive and West Broadway Boulevard for a defective headlight and failure to display plates early Thursday morning. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle, which resulted in the driver being arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Tatyanna R. Buenaflor, 24, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold.


 

An Officer made contact Thursday night with a wanted subject in the 1200 block of South Kentucky Avenue. The suspect was confirmed to have an active warrant out of Pettis County for Drug Possession. Christina S. Crutchfield, 42, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where bond was set at $7,500 cash or surety.


 

Thursday afternoon, Officers responded to the Police Department lobby for a stolen motorcycle report. On arrival, Officers met with Jeffery D. Hensley, who stated his motorcycle was stolen while parked in the 400 block of North Grand Avenue. At the time of the report, a suspect has not been located. The motorcycle has been entered into the database as stolen.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of East 9th Street and South Ingram Avenue Thursday afternoon for vehicle driving with a brake light out. The driver was contacted, and their license was found to be revoked. Tony Wayne White, 51, of Stover, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending charges of Driving While Revoked.


 

Wednesday morning, Sedalia Police responded to the Sedalia Water Department, 200 South Osage Avenue, for a theft of utilities report. On arrival, Officers spoke with a Water Department employee, George Daye. Daye stated a water meter had been altered and approximately 6,210 gallons of water was stolen. A total value of the water theft was $104.34. At the time of the report, a suspect has not been identified.


 

Thursday morning, Officers responded to the Probation and Parole Office, 205 Thompson Road, for a warrant check. On arrival, Officers met with Cheyenne R. Sutherland, 24, of Sedalia. A computer check through Dispatch confirmed Sutherland to have an active, no bond Failure to Appear warrant from Benton County on original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Sutherland was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to a reported violation of a court order Thursday morning in the 1400 block of South Carr Avenue. When arriving, Officers were not able to locate the suspect. While investigating, Officers determined there was not an active court order.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the Bothwell Hospital, 601 East 14th Street, in reference to a patient that had assaulted staff. Officers arrived and located the victim. The victim had visible injuries. Officers placed the suspect under arrest and transported her to the Pettis County Jail. Tyesha L. Peck, 30, Homeless, was placed on a 24 hour hold pending the filing of state charges of Assault in the 3rd Degree.


 

Officers conducted a traffic stop near the Orscheln's Store 2424 South Limit Friday morning for failure to display license plates. Ashley R Ray, 28, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended and transported to the Sedalia Police Department to be booked and released with a court date.
