Early Friday morning, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of West Main Street in reference to a stolen vehicle. When Officers arrived, they spoke with April Renee Vanderhoof, who said her boyfriend has taken her keys and stolen her car. No arrests have been made at this time.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 700 block of West 3rd Street in reference to a burglary Friday morning. Carlo R. Caligiore reported that someone had stolen $4,000 and two cell phones from his residence. No arrests have been made at this time.


 

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation Thursday morning on South Sneed Avenue near West 18th Street. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Steven Jay Goldacker, 44, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Sedalia Police Department, where he provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be above 0.08. Goldacker was issued a UTT for Driving While Intoxicated with a court date and released to a sober driver.


 

Thursday night, Officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding in the area of West Broadway Boulevard and West Main Street. The driver was found to have a suspended license. Don C. Soriano Palmerin Jr., 22 of Sedalia, was arrested and released on the scene after being issued a municipal summons for Driving While Suspended.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 1200 block of South Sneed Avenue Thursday evening in reference to a physical domestic disturbance. The victim stated his son assaulted him during a verbal argument. Officers were able to determine the primary physical aggressor. Joshua R. Starner, 25, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending state charges of Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree.


 

Thursday night, Officers stopped a vehicle in the area of Clinton Road and James Road for a traffic violation. The driver was identified and found to have summons from Pettis County for Speeding, and two Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility ($1,000 cash or surety bond) and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign ($200 cash only bond). Ezra J. Greene, 22, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked on his warrants.


 

Wednesday evening, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of West 7th Street and South Harrison Avenue for speeding. The driver's information was run through Dispatch and she was found to have a suspended driver's license. Bridgett M. Satrang, 38, of Sedalia, was arrested, issued a summons for Driving While Suspended, and released on scene pending her court date.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Starbucks, 3040 West Broadway Boulevard, for a report of a hit and run accident Wednesday afternoon. Upon arrival, Officers met with Yuliya Dimidenko, who stated that while she was working on Monday, someone ran into her vehicle and drove off without leaving any information. There is security camera footage of the incident.


 

Thursday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of South Stewart avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. Both parties involved claimed the incident was physical, but without injuries. A 12 hour log was put into place for the residence.


 

Thursday morning, Officers took a report of a lost wallet. Erica Grant said the wallet was lost at the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, earlier that morning.


 

Officers responded to the 1800 block of South Barrett Avenue for a subject who shot a dog Thursday afternoon. Officers made contact with both the subject who shot the dog and the owner of the dog. A report of the incident was created.


 

Sedalia Police initiated a traffic stop on a car for headlights required in the area of West 20th Street and South Limit Avenue Thursday morning. A check through Dispatch showed the driver had no valid license. Gerardo Diaz Diaz, 42, of Kansas City, arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway Without a Valid License and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Wednesday morning, a female subject came to the Police Department to report that she was being harassed by a male suspect. Malachi Quamayne Eugene Sims, 20, was arrested for Harassment in the 2nd Degree and placed on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.
