Wednesday evening, an Officer responded to the Break Time store, 101 Rebar Road, for a report of theft no longer in progress. The complainant reported that early that morning, a female subject was recorded stealing a merchandise item valued at $19.99. The suspect was identified from the video recording. Lexxus Ellyse Mitchell, 27, of Sedalia, was located, arrested, and then released on a municipal summons for Stealing.

Early Thursday morning, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of North Washington Avenue. During contact with the individuals involved, a subject was found to have a Pettis County warrant. Pauline Antoinette Peck, 59, was arrested for her Parole Violation warrant on original charges of felony Knowingly Exploding/Burning. Peck was transported to the Pettis County Jail and given a bond of $2,000 cash and $2,500 surety.


 

Officers arrested a subject in response to a domestic assault investigation in the 200 block of East Tower Street. Brian James Brackett, 57, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail. Brackett was booked in on felony charges of Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Brackett was placed on a 24 hour hold.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the intersection of West Main Street and South Limit Avenue to investigate a motor vehicle accident Wednesday morning. Officers made contact with the driver involved. A computer check through Dispatch revealed his driver's license was suspended. Timothy J. Miller, 30, of Gardner Kansas, was transported to the SPD to be fingerprinted. Miller was given a municipal summons and released with a citation for Driving While Suspended.
