On Wednesday at 3:21 p.m., Sedalia Police took a theft report at 1516 W. 16th. The victim said that someone cut off the catalytic converter on his 2008 Honda Element sometime between Nov. 22 and Dec. 1. The value of the converter was estimated at $700. There are no suspects.


 

On Wednesday at 7:54 p.m., while performing an area check at Delong's, 131 Harding Ave., an officer noticed a vehicle parked on the lot that is normally not there. Contact was made with the occupants of the vehicle, and a computer check revealed that the driver, 18-year-old Tyler Nathaniel Tindell of Sedalia, was wanted on a Pettis County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of marijuana, with a total bond amount of $100.


 

On Wednesday, Sedalia Police took a dog bite report at Bothwell Regional Health Center. The victim said he was delivering a package when the dog bit him.


 

On Wednesday at 8:36 p.m., Sedalia Police took an assault report at 620 South Osage. The victim sustained moderate injuries, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. Suspect information was collected from a witness.


 

On Wednesday at 10:51 a.m., Sedalia Police checked on the well-being of a subject at 227 South Stewart. A computer check revealed that 29-year-old Akeisha D. Sims of Sedalia, was wanted on a misdemeanor FTA Pettis County warrant. Sims was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail. She was held pending the posting of a $2500 cash or surety bond.


 

On Wednesday morning, Sedalia Police took a theft report from a woman who said that her purse was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 2200 block of West 5th.


 

On Sunday, Sedalia Police responded to the 300 block of Chestnut for an animal complaint. Investigation revealed that two large dogs had escaped a house at 320 Chestnut and began chasing two people walking their dog in the area. No one was injured. 37-year-old Joshua Bohannon of Osceola and 33-year-old Alexandra J. Bohannon of Sedalia were issued two Municipal summons for animals running at large, and dogs barking, chasing and annoying others.
