Wednesday evening, Officers assisted Pettis County Deputies in the 3500 block of South Grand Avenue in reference to a theft that occurred in the 500 block of Sunset Drive. Officers gathered the information from Quivonta Stephone Ray Moore and report was generated.


 

Wednesday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of West 4th Street and South Grand Avenue on a vehicle that failed to obey a stop sign. Officers discovered the driver did not have a valid license at the time of the stop. Officers placed the suspect under arrest and transported her to the Pettis County Jail. Ana Bertah Mendez, 37, of Sedalia, was booked in on charges of Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, No Proof of Insurance, and Operating a Motor Vehicle On the Highway Without a Valid License.

On the afternoon of August 25th, Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of West 4th Street and South Limit Avenue on a vehicle that had taken an improper turn. Officers discovered the driver of the vehicle did not have a valid license at the time of the stop. Officers placed the driver under arrest and transported them to the Pettis County Jail. Miguel Nava Pascual, 18, of Sedalia, was booked in on charges of Improper Left Turn, No Proof of Insurance, and Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway Without a Valid License.


 

Sunday afternoon, Officers conducted a traffic stop on Veterans Memorial Road on a vehicle. Officers had identified the driver in operation of the vehicle, who had a suspended driving privilege. Jorge Cruz Arreola, 65, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended, Failure to Comply with an Interlock Device, and No Proof of Insurance. Arreola was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Officers responded to a report of an assault with a weapon at Vermont Park, 1200 Vermont Avenue. Officers identified the primary aggressor in the assault investigation. Amber Felicia Gregg, 36, of Sedalia, was arrested on a felony charge of Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Gregg was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.
