Sedalia Police Reports For April 4, 2023

Last Friday afternoon, Officers performed a traffic stop on a vehicle that had expired registration. The stop occurred in the area of East Broadway Boulevard and South Center Avenue. A check through Dispatch showed the driver had two active Sedalia warrants for his arrest, and a suspended Missouri driver’s license. Roel Gonzalez, 21, of Sedalia, was arrested on his two Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of Driving While Intoxicated and Open Container, as well as a new charge of Driving While Suspended. Bond on the warrants was set at a total of $120 cash only. Gonzalez was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked on his warrants.
On the afternoon of March 29th, An Officer performed a warrant check in the 500 block of East Harvey Street. The Officer contacted the suspect, and he was placed into handcuffs. A check through Dispatch showed he had an active Lafayette County warrant on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. James D. Campbell, 33, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a cash or surety bond of $7500.
Officers took a report regarding an animal bite in the 900 block of West 11th Street. A report was completed and will be forwarded to Animal Control for follow up.
On the afternoon of March 21st, Officers performed a subject check in the 400 block of North Mill Street for a subject believed to have an active warrant for their arrest. Contact was made with the subject and a check with Dispatch confirmed he had an active Pettis County warrant on charges of felony Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree. Darryl Allen Frazier, 56, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be held pending a cash or surety bond of $7500.
