Wednesday night, Officers responded to an agency assist call in the 1200 block of West 11th Street with the Children's Division. An allegation of a sex crime against a household member was investigated. The investigation is ongoing at this time.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 1000 block of East 11th Street Thursday evening for a report of physical domestic violence. Through investigation, it was determined a physical altercation had occurred, but it was mutual between both parties.


 

Early Thursday morning, Officers stopped a vehicle in the area of South Montgomery Avenue and East 13th Street for a registration violation. During the course of the stop, it was determined the driver had a suspended license and a Pettis County warrant. The warrant was for misdemeanor Driving While Suspended and also for felony Delivery or Manufacture of an Imitation Controlled Substance. Amanda D. Meyer, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested without incident and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $10,000 cash or surety bond.


 

Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East 13th Street Wednesday evening for a reported assault incident. The incident was domestic in relation. A physical aggressor could not be determined. A 12 hour domestic violence report was completed. The subject on scene was told their options and resources.


 

Wednesday night, Sedalia Police contacted a subject with an active arrest warrant in the area of South Missouri Avenue and Wilkerson Street. The warrant was confirmed active with a $100 cash only bond. The warrant was for Failure to Appear on original charges of Stealing out of Pettis County. Austin K. Bale, 24, of Sedalia, was arrested without incident and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police took a found property report in the lobby of the Police Department Wednesday evening. Janice Schilb found a wallet in front of the American Legion, 2016 West Main Street, and brought it to the Police Department. Officers attempted to contact the owner, but were unsuccessful. The wallet has been placed into evidence for safe keeping.


 

Thursday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the Emergency Room at the Bothwell Regional Health Center, 601 East 14th Street in reference to a subject trespassing. The subject was still on the scene, and refused to leave when ordered by Officers. Dale W. Kabler, 53, Homeless, was placed under arrest for Trespassing the 1st Degree. Kabler was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24 hour hold.


 

Early Wednesday morning, Officers responded to the area of West Broadway Boulevard and South Limit Avenue in reference to a single vehicle collision. During the investigation of the collision, the driver stated she had been sexually assaulted just prior to the collision. A separate investigation was started for the sexual assault. A suspect has not been identified at this time.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of West 3rd Street in reference to a violation of a protection order. The suspect attempted to make contact with the victim, but left prior to law enforcement's arrival. State charges of Violation of an Order of Protection were later submitted to the prosecutor.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the Casey's store, 3050 South Limit Avenue Thursday afternoon in reference to found property. The store employees handed over several items of personal belongings that have been found at the store over a course of time. The items were collected and entered into evidence as found property.


 

Thursday morning, Officers responded to the Housel Park, 201 East Howard Street, in reference to a burglary report. Upon arrival, Officers met with maintenance personnel. They explained the concession stand at the park had been forced open. Nothing was taken from the building.
