Sedalia Police took a property damage report on Tuesday evening. New Life Church, 2500 East Broadway, reported that a catalytic converter on a church vehicle was cut off and stolen. Estimated value of the damage and theft was $1400.


 

On Tuesday, Sedalia Police took a report in the lobby from a person who said that a person known to them disseminated private sexual images of them without their consent.


 

On Wednesday around 1 a.m., Sedalia Police investigated a domestic dispute in the 1500 block of West 5th. It was determined both parties were under the influence of alcohol and both sustained injuries as a result of an altercation. Both parties separated and a 12-hour log was completed.


 

On Tuesday night around 11:30 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to Black & Decker, 1500 Waterloo Drive, to take a report of a stolen vehicle. A woman reported that while she was at work, her vehicle was stolen off the property. The vehicle was entered as stolen, and no suspects were identified at the time of the report.


 

On Tuesday evening, Sedalia Police took a hit-and-run report in the lobby. The victim said that a vehicle hit hers while at the stop light at Broadway and Limit. Attempts were made for both vehicles to pull over and exchange information. But the other vehicle failed to stop. It has not been identified.


 

On Thursday, April 14 around 6:30 p.m., Sedalia Police conducted a vehicle stop at AT&T, 3185 W. Broadway. A computer check through Joint Communications revealed that the driver, 27-year-old Lindsey Pahlow of Sedalia, was driving while suspended. Pahlow was issued a citation with a court date and released on scene.


 

On Tuesday around 6:20 a.m., Sedalia Police responded to Break Time, 808 E. Broadway, for a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, the subject was gone, but was found to have taken a package of Planter's Peanut Butter and Chocolate Trail Mix. The suspect was not identified or located at the time of the report.


 

On Tuesday afternoon, Sedalia Police took a report of a found wallet in the 3400 block of W. Broadway. Contact was made with the owner and the wallet was returned back to the family.


 

On Tuesday afternoon, Sedalia Police and Sedalia Fire responded to a report of a structure fire with someone trapped inside in the 900 block of West 3rd Street. Upon arrival, it was determined that it was false report. Later in the day, the occupant of the building that was claimed to be on fire came to SPD to report she was being threatened and that a suspect known to her was violating a court order. It is believed these two events are related and there is evidence to suggest the same suspect was responsible for both events.


 

On Tuesday morning, Sedalia Police took a property damage report from Sedalia Parks & Rec. Sometime overnight at Housel Park, 201 East Howard, someone pried at a door, forcing it open, damaging the door's locks.


 

On Monday, Sedalia Police took a theft report from a woman who said her wallet was taken from a business at 815 E. Broadway. The suspect was not identified at the time of the report.


 

On March 5 at 1:10 a.m., Sedala Police conducted a traffic stop near 2nd and Lamine on a vehicle for an obstructed license plate. The driver was issued citations for MIP, no proof of insurance and expired registration. The name of the driver was not released in the report.
