On the afternoon of April 14th, Officers performed a subject check near the area of East 3rd Street and South Engineer Avenue. A check through Dispatch confirmed an active Sedalia warrant for his arrest. Christopher Dale Cowles, 48, of Sedalia, was arrested for his Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility. Cowles was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked, with bond set at $200 cash only. Cowles also is in violation of Probation for another charge of felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree and a charge of felony Burglary in the 2nd Degree with no bond.
