Sedalia Police Investigate Property Damage at Recycling Center and Compost Facility

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the City of Sedalia Recycling Center and Compost Facility early Tuesday morning to investigate a report of property damage.

According to the report, officers were dispatched to the facility, located at 27882 Highway U, just before 7:00.

Overnight, someone had allegedly broken into the facilities shed. Reported missing, was a log chain. The suspects reportedly attempted to drive the MULE ATV away, as well, but the ATV received damage to the axle and the suspects left it in a ditch.

There were no suspects listed in the report. The case is under investigation.
