Sedalia Police Reports For April 21, 2023

Late Thursday night, a car was stopped at West 32nd Street and Erika Avenue for several moving violations. The driver was found to be intoxicated by drugs. Robert S. Tillman, 27, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs), Failure to Stop at a Red Light, Improper Lane Usage, Improper Left Turn, Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle in the 1500 block of Thompson Boulevard Wednesday night for careless and imprudent driving. Ethan Ryan Kaiser, 18, of Sedalia, was cited and subsequently released on a pending charge of Careless and Imprudent Driving.
Officers took a report of theft from the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard Sunday afternoon. The value of the items taken was estimated at approximately $247.94. The suspect has not been located at this time.
Thursday morning, an Officer took a theft report from Devon Balark. Balark stated a package was stolen off of the front porch from the 400 block of West 5th Street. There are no suspects at this time.
Sedalia Police took a report of property damage Thursday morning. Martha Graves reported the damage occurred in the 200 block of West Broadway Boulevard. A bollard post was damaged the previous day. There are no suspects at this time.
Wednesday afternoon, Officers responded to the 500 block of South Barrett Avenue in reference to a report of a burglary. Walter Erwin Doyal reported a residence was broken into in the area. Approximately $1000 worth of property damage was reported at the residence. In addition, approximately $550 worth of items were stolen from the residence.
