Sedalia Man Runs From Officers During Traffic Stop, Later Apprehended

Sedalia Police initiated a traffic stop on a car for not having a rear license plate and for failing to use its turn signal Saturday morning.

A check through Dispatch showed the driver's license was suspended. The suspect fled on foot from Officers. He was apprehended and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Darnell Johnson, 37, of Sedalia, was arrested on charges of Driving While Suspended, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Resisting Arrest.
