Sedalia Man Injured in Wreck on I-70

A 28-year old Sedalia man was injured Monday evening in a two-vehicle wreck on I-70 in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 5:40, on eastbound I-70 at the 66.2 mile marker.

According to the online crash report, the driver of a 1999 Dodge Ram, 28-year old Samuel L. Bishop, of Sedalia, was making a lane change when the vehicle lost control and struck a 2003 Freightliner, driven by 46-year old Eloy Molina-Bojorquez, of Arlington, Texas.

Bishop suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.

Molina-Bojorquez was reportedly uninjured.

Both men were wearing safety devices.
