Sedalia Man Charged in Sexual Abuse Case

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, Sedalia Police arrested 41-year-old Roy R. Pounds of Sedalia after a juvenile victim was interviewed at Child Safe of Central Missouri.

According to a report, a female victim disclosed sexual abuse for the past two years by someone known to her.

The victim disclosed several incidents during the time frame of statutory sodomy and child molestation. The suspect was located and arrested..

Pounds was being held at the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the formal filing of state charges of three counts of 1st degree statutory sodomy, three counts of 1st degree child molestation, three counts of incest and one count of furnishing pornography to a minor.
