Detectives with the Sedalia Police Department's Crime Resolution Unit performed a warrant check in the 2000 block of East 15th Street last Thursday morning.

Detectives made contact with the subject inside the residence, and confirmed he had multiple warrants for his arrest.

Timothy James Coterel, 41, of Sedalia, was arrested for four misdemeanor Failure to Appear warrants on charges of Attempting to Take a Deer Before or After Shooting Hours, Attempting to Take or Pursue Wildlife from a Motor Driven Air, Land or Water Conveyance, Taking a Deer Using Night Vision or Artificial Light, Illegal Possession or Transport of a Deer or Deer Parts, each with a $250 cash only bond (totaling $1000).

Coterel also had two felony Failure to Appear warrants on charges of Stealing Leased or Rented Property and Receiving Stolen Property, both of which carried no bond.

Coterel was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked pending charges.
