At 64, Shaw is providing ample notice to ensure a seamless transition while maintaining momentum on critical city projects.
During this transitional period, Shaw will step into the role of Project Director, working closely with Honorable Mayor Andrew Dawson and the City Council to guide ongoing initiatives and prepare the administration for its next chapter.
“I’m incredibly proud of the accomplishments we’ve achieved together during my tenure and look forward to continuing to build on that progress over the coming year,” Shaw said. “It has been an honor to work with such a talented and dedicated team, and I am confident that Sedalia will remain in excellent hands as I transition into retirement.”
