On Wednesday, April 7, the Sedalia Police Department served a search warrant in the 600 block of East 9th Street.

Upon arriving at the residence, officers made contact with four adults and several children that were in two vehicles outside the residence.

In the first vehicle, the driver was found to have a loaded handgun and a high capacity magazine.

In the second vehicle, the driver was found to have two handguns, high capacity magazines, marijuana, prescription pills and over $2,200 cash. The front passenger was found to be in possession of ecstasy pills.

There was also an AR-15 rifle that was found in back seat of the vehicle. The front passenger also lied about his identity and was found to have outstanding warrants for his arrest.

A search of the residence was completed. Found during the search was a large amount of fentanyl, marijuana, ammunition, and drug paraphernalia that included packaging materials and a digital scale.

Three people were arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. The other adults were released from the scene. The arrestees and their charges that are being requested are listed below:

Deontay Pearson-Daniels – 23 years of age, charges being requested are 1st Degree Trafficking of Drugs, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st Degree.

Deandre Williams -  29 years of age, charges being requested are Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Identity Theft. He was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear for Domestic Assault 2nd Degree that had a bond of $25,000 cash or surety and a Probation Violation warrant with no bond.

Teresa Pearson-Daniels – 28 years of age, charges being requested are Unlawful Use of a Weapon, 1st Degree Trafficking of Drugs, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st Degree.
