Sacred Heart School celebrated the final day of Homecoming Week on Friday with a parade full of red-and-white outfits and a whole lot of candy, not to mention plenty of vivid Gremlin pride.

The parade began at 6th and Ohio and worked its way north on Ohio to Third, then west to Sacred Heart School where it disbanded. The parade enjoyed perfect weather, with great timing after Sedalia received up to 2.5 inches on rain over the previous 24 hours.

The parade featured Gremlin sports teams and coaches, colorful floats created by high school classes, Homecoming king & queen candidates, SH alumni, the Sacred Heart Band and one bright green, vintage Gremlin vehicle.

The SH Football Gremlins battled the Chilhowee Indians at Tiger Stadium Friday night for Homecoming.
