Sacred Heart Baseball Falls to Crest Ridge

Sacred Heart watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 16-4 loss to Crest Ridge on Monday.

The Gremlins lost despite out-hitting Crest Ridge 11 to 10 in 5 innings.

After cutting the lead to 8-4 in the third inning, walks and hit batters proved too much to overcome as Sacred Heart’s pitchers combined to give up 12 walks and four hit batters in the contest.

Carter Rice took the loss for the gremlins on the mound. Tanner Damlo, Gavin Caldwell and Alex Karigan had two hits a piece.

George Bain, Caldwell and Carter Rice all had RBIs for the Grems.
