A rollover accident in Livingston County that occurred Saturday night has killed one Breckenridge man, and seriously injured another.

The MSHP reported that a southbound 2004 Ford F-150 on Route U, 12 miles northwest of Chillicothe, left the roadway at 8:30 p.m. on the west side. The driver overcorrected and then traveled off the east side, collided with an embankment, became airborne and overturned twice before coming to rest on its driver's side, facing north on the east side of the highway.

The driver, 20-year-old Christopher D. Adams of Breckenridge, was pronounced deceased by Livingston County Assistant Coroner Brooks McGinnis at 10:03 p.m.

His passenger, 19-year-old Trevor E. Adams of Breckenridge, suffered serious injuries and was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Truman Medical Center.

Neither were wearing a safety device, according to the report.

The Ford was totaled and towed.

Livingston County Sheriff's deputies and Chillicothe Fire assisted the Patrol at the scene.
