Rob’s Off the Trails Tracks – Dierks Bentley’s ‘Drunk on a Plane’

Oh boy, time for another Off the Trail Track! We feature a deep cut from a hot album, and this week it's the number one album in the land, 'Riser' from Dierks Bentley, making him the first artist to be featured twice on Off the Trail Tracks.

Released just last week, Bentley's seventh studio album 'Riser' debuted at number one, has received phenomenal reviews, and has already produced the top ten single 'I Hold On.'

For our Off the Trail Track, I chose the CD's sixth song, 'Drunk on a Plane.' It's pretty self explanatory: the guy was supposed to go on a vacation with his girl, they broke up, so he went by himself and is throwing a party for himself on the plane in an effort to forget her. It's pretty upbeat with a nice rhythm and fun chorus.
