On the night of October 24th, Pettis County Deputies, along with the K9 Unit, responded to the 4500 block of South Limit Avenue in reference to a physical disturbance. During the investigation, a cell phone valued at $1399.99 was stolen, along with several other charges. The suspect, Jake N. Robinson of Sedalia, has several outstanding Failure to Appear warrants on charges of Driving While Revoked (Persistent Offender) and a felony FTA for Possession of a Controlled Substance with bond set at $25,000. Deputies and the K9 Unit would like to speak with him about their ongoing investigation.


 

Pettis County Deputies and K9 Unit responded to the 2400 block of Oak Point, in reference to a subject with an outstanding warrant. Upon arrival, Deputies located the suspect outside of the residence. Deputies arrested Amanda Martz (Lawson) for her warrant for Trafficking in the 2nd Degree with bond set at $50,000 cash or surety.


 

Early Sunday morning, Deputies took a report of assault on a minor in the 1300 block of Boonville Road.


 

Friday morning, Deputies responded to the 1100 block of Sue Avenue in La Monte for a report of domestic assault. Saturday afternoon, Deputies were dispatched back to the residence for a verbal domestic disturbance. A 12-hour log was completed. Later that evening, the Pettis County K9 Unit and Deputies were dispatched to the address again in reference to a physical domestic disturbance. During the investigation, Scott Paul Powell was arrested for Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Deputies took a report of a theft from the 33000 block of Cottage School Road in Pettis County Saturday afternoon. Approximately 70 feet of copper piping was stolen, valued at approximately $350.


 

On the evening of October 21st, Megan Henderson of Hughesville Missouri reported to Pettis County Deputies that a person was violating a full order of protection she has against the suspect. At the time of the report, Deputies have not made contact with the suspect, but charges have been filed.


 

Pettis County Deputies, along with the Pettis County Fire Department, responded to a possible structure fire in the 1300 block of East Boonville last Thursday afternoon. During the investigation, it was determined to be an electrical fire. The Pettis County Deputies and Fire Department were assisted by the Missouri State Fire Marshall.


 

Late Thursday night, Deputies conducted a vehicle stop in the 1700 block of West Broadway Boulevard. The passenger ran from the vehicle in an attempt to evade Law Enforcement. The suspect was later found hiding from Law Enforcement in a dumpster. Mason Heston was placed under arrest and taken to the Pettis County Jail on two felony no bond Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of Tampering With a Motor Vehicle in the 1st Degree and Stealing, and charges of Resisting Arrest.
