Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports for May 12, 2021

On Tuesday May 11, Pettis County Fire Chief Make Harding reported the theft of a catalytic converter from a 1999 Ford F-350, while it was parked in front of a fire station in the 23000 block of Radio Hill.
On May 11, Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Dove and Highway E in Green Ridge, The driver was identified as Ryan C. Kruse of Windsor. According to the report, the smell of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. Deputies located green plant material, along with several items of drug paraphernalia.
On May 11, Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop at 5th and Summit in Sedalia. During the stop, Deputies deployed K9 Cav to conduct a sniff of the vehicle. The dog alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics. During a search, Deputies located a small amount of a white powdery substance that field tested for methamphetamine, as well as a digital scale. Deputies then arrested Wesley R. Dickey of Sedalia. While at the Pettis County Jail, Dickey was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics that was brought into the jail facility.
On Monday, May 10, Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near 5th and Lafayette in Sedalia for defective equipment and displaying the plates of another vehicle. The driver, Austin Jumalon of Sedalia, was then arrested for driving while intoxicated and taken to the Pettis County Jail.
On Saturday, May 8, Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Broadway and Lamine on a vehicle failing to display lighted lamps as required. The driver, Diana Gorpinish of Sedalia, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail for driving while intoxicated.
On Friday, May 7, Pettis County Deputies took a report of a lost or stolen wallet at Dollar Tree, 3107 W. Broadway.
