Neo Country-Western Blues Artist to Headline Fair August 18
Self-proclaimed neo-country-bluesman Charley Crockett will headline the Missouri State Fair on Thursday, August 18 at 7:30 PM.
Last year Charley Crockett was scheduled as one of the support acts for Colter Wall along with Tim Montana. After Wall couldn't tour in the States due to COVID-19 travel restrictions the fair looked at going ahead with the show with Crockett and Montana before scrapping it all and booking Frankie Ballard instead.
This year Crockett's headlining, and supporting him is Texan Stoney LaRue. La Rue, like Cockett, is hard to pigeonhole musically and has a career spanning 20 years.
Crockett's released ten albums in six years, and his latest album "Lil' G Presents: Jukebox Charley," is a double LP of songs that came out April 22 and features songs including "Between My House and Town" and "Make Way for a Better Man".
LaRue's most recent album is "Double Live 25," which features 25 songs and includes "Feet Don't Touch the Ground," "Look At Me Fly," and "Oklahoma Breakdown."
