I have become the coffee connoisseur at our station. With 2 exceptions, we all drink coffee. Some more than others. So I have taken it upon myself to try different flavors and options to have brewed for the staff when they all arrive. We can get coffee in many places, but the atmosphere in a shop could be what sets it apart. These Missouri coffee shops may need to checked out.
Ozark Coffee Company
Lets start with a local one. Ozark Coffee Company in Sedalia. The Sedalia Democrat named it Best In Sedalia for 2022. Locally roasted, globally sourced coffee and you can get a lot more than that. Visit their website HERE.
Westport Coffee House
You can get more than just great coffee here. Locally owned, and there is a black box theater inside where you can see comedy, music, and theater. Their cyber cafe will take care of your Wi-Fi needs. Our state capital of Jefferson City is where you will find Three Story Coffee. Three Story Coffee is on a mission to create deeper connections between those of us who enjoy specialty coffee and the farmers who grow it around the world. Historic Hannibal Missouri is the home of Java Jive. So much more than a coffee shop, they're also a deli, bakery, and gift shop. Boji Stone Cafe
The home where sliced bread was invented is Chillicothe. This is where the Boji Stone Cafe, coffeehouse and bookstore is located. Great coffee and drinks. If you want a nice cup of coffee in Kansas City, check out Oddly Correct. Their new location is 4141 Troost Ave. At this coffee bar they serve by-the-cup coffee brewing (chemex, pourover) and espresso extractions of intriguing coffees. They serve it in an all classic traditional sense - black coffee, or with cream and sugar, sweetened lattes and they have added buttermilk biscuits and breakfast sandwiches (as well as fried chicken biscuits on Fridays).
