Here's our second place winner of our Mommy Madness contest.  The mother who sent this story is the winner of a 60 minute massage and the all new O2 Lift Facial from Bodyworks Day Spa.

It is not uncommon for kids to put things in their nose. This story is definitely one-of-a-kind though. We have heard of marbles, coins, food and more, but never this.

Being a mother of four grown children, there are many things that happened that would be scary, gross and silly. The one that keeps sticking out in my mind is when my oldest daughter put a piece of foam (from an egg crate) in her nose when she was little.

For a while I didn't know why her nose was draining and smelled terrible, until one day, when I was giving her a bath, I could see a little bitty piece of the foam sticking out from her nose. I tried to get it out with a pair of tweezers, but it wasn't budging. I ended up having to take her to the ER for the doctor to get it out. Boy did she throw a fit

I found out that it had been in there awhile and that it was infected, which is why it smelled awful. The foam egg crate was thrown away and when I threw it away, she threw a fit saying that was her buddy.

Kids are great, but sometimes they just make you shake your head. Let's hope she does not still miss her buddy Mr. Foam. Check back soon to see our favorite Mommy Madness story of them all!
