The Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis is one of the most beautiful places you will ever visit. The amount of flowers that are located in one place is truly breathtaking. It's been a few years since I visited the garden, but after reading what Thrillist said about the place I really need to see it again. Thrillest put a list together of the best botanical gardens in the U.S. and the Missouri Botanical Garden made the list.

The gardens include his historic house and a Victorian-era observatory, one of the largest Japanese gardens on the continent, and a Turkish garden reminiscent of a Mediterranean villa.

They go on to say also that the main piece of the garden, is Climatron where you can experience different weather climates from all over like Arizona, Hawaii, and even Italy.  Plus, you will see amazing blown-glass sculptures and over 6,000 different plants throughout the garden.

Now, the Missouri Botanical Garden is not free, but the cost is low to visit and worth every penny. If you've ever wanted to look for inspiration for your home as to what flowers to plant you might want to make a trip to one of the best botanical gardens in America.
