What an incredible story. New video just shared shows the moment when a Missouri man was reunited with his dog that was hit by a car. The best part? It was 300 in the St. Louis community that stepped up to make it happen when he couldn't.

The Stray Rescue in St. Louis just shared an amazing video moment with an even cooler backstory. The short version is this man is a truck driver who took his eyes off of his dog for a brief moment. The dog thought they were playing a game and ran into a roadway where he was hit by a vehicle. The animal needed life-saving surgery which the Missouri man could not afford, so 300 people in the community donated funds to take care of the medical care. This is the moment when he and his dog, Kodak, were reunited.

There are so many nasty things happening in the world right now. This, in my opinion, is the type of story that needs to be screamed from the top of the rooftops. The fact that 300 in the St. Louis, Missouri area found it in their hearts to help stand in the gap to help this man not lose his best friend is EXCEPTIONAL. Well done, St. Louis people that did this. You are the very definition of Good Samaritans.
