Mayor Dawson Makes Several Board Appointments

Mayor Andrew Dawson made two new appointments and 17 re-appointments at Monday night's City Council meeting.

Here are the names and the boards on which they will serve:

New Appointments:

Chuck Leftwich replacing Arlene Furnell for a three-year term expiring June of 2027 on the Animal Advisory Board.

Garry Holstein for a three year term expiring June of 2027 on the Sedalia Park Board.

Re-appointments:

Jennifer Boatright for a three-year term expiring June of 2027 on the Animal Advisory Board.

Mike Patton for a five-year term expiring June of 2026, and Lee Scribner as an alternate on the Board of Appeals.

Chuck Leftwich, John Rucker, James Callis and Dennis Henderson for a three-year term expiring June of 2027 on the Citizens Traffic Advisory Commission.

David Esser for a four-year term expiring June of 2028 for the Housing Board of Directors.

Dan Van Dyne and Connie Washington for a three-year term expiring June of 2027 on the Sedalia Park Board.

Emily Schmidt for a three-year term expiring June of 2027 on the Public Library Board.

Becky Imhauser and John Simmons for a three-year term on the Sedalia Historic Preservation Commission.

Lucas Richardson, Eron Harding and David Esser for a three-year term expiring January of 2027 on the Sedalia Main Streets Board of Directors.

Chuck Leftwich for a five-year term expiring June of 2029 on the Zoning Board of Adjustments.
