Marshall Police Investigate Armed Robbery
On Friday at approximately 1:20 p.m., the Saline County 911 Center received a phone call from a man who told them his son was robbed at gunpoint. Officers were dispatched to the area of North Miami Avenue to investigate.
The 911 Center provided information to officers of a possible suspect vehicle, a silver passenger car.
Upon the officer’s arrival, they searched the area for the suspect vehicle but could not locate it.
Information provided to officers was the vehicle approached a young man walking and stopped beside him. A male passenger exited the car, pointed a handgun at him, and demanded money. The young man provided what money he had, the man entered the car, and the vehicle departed. The victim described the vehicle as a silver passenger car with tinted back windows.
