Lincoln Man Killed in Wednesday Wreck

A 73-year old man from Lincoln, MO was killed in a one-vehicle wreck Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just before 5:00, on MO-18, just east of SW 1201 Road in Henry County.

The accident occurred as a 2006 Dodge Durango traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver, Ronald R. Scherzberg, of Lincoln, was killed in the wreck. The body was taken to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home.

The MSHP says this is the 34th fatality for 2017.
