Lady Antebellum took the stage on Sunday evening (April 15) for an emotional performance of their current single, "Heart Break." The song is the title track of their latest album.

The group performed a mid-tempo, theatrical rendition of their single, opening with Scott's looking into her reflection in a mirror. The melodic, easy-going track was a faithful rendition of the studio version of the track.

"I paint my lips red / I turn my own head / Don't need nobody's help zipping up my own dress," Lady A vocalist Hillary Scott sang on Sunday night. "Heart Break" champions the idea of taking a breather between romantic relationships to be, as the chorus goes, "Single for the summer, I won't rebound / One lover to another, or be tied down / I'm sleeping like a queen in a California king I made / I think it's time to take a heart break."

Amid a sea of love songs and breakup ballads, "Heart Break" serves as a refreshing reminder that everyone needs to hit the reset button sometimes. Lady Antebellum should know: Before releasing their 2017 project, the group took a year-long hiatus in 2016 to rest, as well as to focus on their solo projects.
