La Monte/SH Grems Blank Stover, 15-0

On Monday night, the La Monte/ SH Gremlins won big over the Stover Bulldogs, 15-0, in three innings.

La Monte/ SH Varsity Gremlins scored 11 in the first inning followed by one run in the second, and three in the third.

Addison Briggs, Sammy Altena, Zoe Martin, Karen Cisneros, and Kelcy Mullett all contributed from the plate with 8 hits on the night.

Zoe Martin led the La Monte Varsity Gremlins to victory on the rubber. The right-hander added a no-hitter to her resume, with one walk, and seven strikeouts.

Tuesday night the La Monte/ SH Gremlins defeated Smithton 29-2.

La Monte/ SH Varsity Gremlins opened up scoring in the first inning, when Briggs and Arnold scored on steals.

The Gremlins added 21 runs in the second inning with hits from Arnold, Elwell, Mullett, Epple, Briggs, Altena, Martin and Cisneros.

Keely Elwell finished the game in the circle, giving up two runs, and striking out three.

Smithton is now 0-5.

The La Monte/ SH Varsity Gremlins host Butler tonight at La Monte. Senior recognition will begin at 4:45 pm on the baseball field, followed by a 5 pm game time.

Sacred Heart/La Monte is now 6-3.

Stover is now 0-4.
