Help Clean Up Knob Noster’s Mitch Franklin Park Saturday
You can help Knob Noster Parks and Recreation, KNYSA, and the Lions Club help clean up Mitch Franklin Park this Saturday Morning, March 27.
The City of Knob Noster announced on their Facebook page that the Park Board has scheduled a park cleanup at Mitch Franklin Park, 401 Salem Avenue.
From their flyer it looks like some of the activities of the clean up will include picking up trash, painting and beautifying the park. The clean up is set to begin at 9:00AM CDT, and the flyer advertising the event asks the community for their help.
People interested in helping with the park cleanup are asked to bring some gloves and clothes to paint in.
The Knob Noster Park Board is set to meet this evening and the park clean up is one of the pieces of new business they will be discussing. Other topics on the agenda include setting park pavilion rental costs and reservations status. The status of solar lights for the city park. And items the Park Board are ready to purchase with their 2021 budget.
More information on the Knob Noster Park Board's meeting, which is open to the public, can be found here on the Knob Noster Facebook page.
