When the Knob Noster Fair cancelled this year's event scheduled for May 28 - May 30 they hoped they'd be able to schedule the 5K in the fall, in what they refer to as the "back to school" time-frame. Unfortunately, the Knob Noster Fair made the decision that now doesn't seem to be any better a time to hold a 5K than earlier this spring.

Those folks who have signed up for the 5K and paid for it have two options moving forward:

1. We can defer your entry for next year ( will be the same medals that you see here), Please get in touch with D.d. Smith either by responding here, or messaging or calling Co-Ed Creations Salon 660-563-3553, and you will be rolled over to next year.

2. We will offer a refund on your entry. ( we've never had to do this before, so thank you in advance for your patience)

Those who provided emails when they signed up for the 5K should be receiving an email that outlines the information above.

The Knob Noster Fair promises they will be back next year "bigger and better than ever!" Additionally the 5K will keep this year's theme next year.

Knob Noster's Fair cancelling their 5K for 2020 isn't the only cancellation that's happened in the last 24 hours. Yesterday the Missouri State Fair announced that Anheuser-Busch Inbev decided not to sponsor the Bud Tent this year "in an effort to be sensitive to the current pandemic." This forced the State Fair to cancel the local entertainment line up scheduled for the tent and the Homegrown Singer Contest.
