My kids refuse to believe it, but I used to be a runner. That's one reason why I appreciate the fact that one 5K run in Missouri was just voted one of the best races in America. That matters because it was the people who participate that vote.

The Veterans Assistance League will host its 2nd Virtual Run for Freedom 5K and 10K this fall. Runners from all over the state and country will have the opportunity to run for the veterans who live at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg.
