While many residents of Central Missouri may have obligations that prevent them from viewing this afternoon's online presentation of Missouri Governor Mike Parson's address to the Missouri Legislature, they have the opportunity to watch the event this evening on KMOS-TV.

The University of Central Missouri's public television station will broadcast the speech at 9 p.m. on channel 6.1 for the benefit of citizens in the KMOS 36-county viewing area.

The broadcast to the Legislature will be followed by the minority response.

Gov. Parson will deliver his 2022 State of the State address today at 3 p.m. from the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City.

Parson is currently serving his second term as Missouri governor.

He assumed the position in 2018 when former Republican Gov. Eric Greitens resigned due to a sexual scandal involving his hairdresser.
