Smith-Cotton High School senior Ellie Kimbrough has accepted athletic and academic scholarships to play softball at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy of St. Louis.

 

Kimbrough, the daughter of Kyle and Kayla Kimbrough, was a four-year letter winner for the Lady Tigers softball team, earning Academic All-State recognition three times.

 

She earned All-Conference and All-District honors, and holds S-C season records for doubles (10, 2023), triples (3, 2023) on-base percentage (.510, 2024) and RBI (27, 2023).

 

S-C Softball Head Coach Amy Miller said: “Ellie Kimbrough is an outstanding softball player. She works tirelessly on all aspect of her game and will be a great addition for any team. Ellie is a leader in work ethic and her actions. She is going to do great things at the next level and I can’t wait to see this next chapter in her life unfold.”
