I recently went on a vacation, and for many people, depending on their job, they may have to take or do a "working vacation".  Now if you have to travel somewhere for work, it might be nice to want to go somewhere out of the country, right? Perhaps a place that you may never get a chance to check out.  Well it turns out, you might be able to stay in the Show Me State and have just as much fun.

As part of my vacation, I went to St Louis and saw a cousin of mine who works for Nestle/Purina.  She is able to work remotely, and perhaps some of you also have that option.  According to Icelandair, the city of Kansas City has been voted the number 1 city to have a "working vacation".

Kansas City topped an international list of destinations as the best place to work during the day and explore after hours, according to the airline’s recent report. Icelandair analyzed factors like cost of living, quality of life, air pollution, health care and safety in over 150 cities across the globe to make the rankings. Other cities on the list include Vienna, Austria; Copenhagen, Denmark and Frankfurt, Germany. You can read more about this HERE.

We know that Kansas City has a lot to offer.  We know that the World Cup is coming in 2026.  We have the Kansas City Chiefs, and so many places to check out for great food.  Now we have more of a reason to check out this amazing city.  Especially if you still have to work, while enjoying some time away.
