Jon Pardi lends his talents to Brooks & Dunn for the latest song from their Reboot project, "My Next Broken Heart." Readers can press play above to listen to the rowdy honky-tonk remix of the duo's 1991 No. 1 hit.

Written by Kix Brooks, Ronnie Dunn and Don Cook, "My Next Broken Heart" comes from Brooks & Dunn's debut album, Brand New Man. It was the project's second single and their second-consecutive No. 1 song, right out of the gate.

The collaboration with Pardi is one of 12 songs on Reboot, the album that the iconic country duo is set to release this spring. The projects duets of some of their biggest hits with today's hottest country artists.

“What’s really intriguing to me is that we didn’t do any production meetings about how we might cut these things,” Brooks says in a press release, noting that each song adapted to the new artists naturally in the process.

Adds Dunn, "Each artist came at it from a different angle. When Jon Pardi walked in, he said, 'I’m in, but we’re not changing anything,’ and we didn’t musically, but his vocal speaks for itself.”

"My Next Broken Heart" follows the release of collaborations with Kane Brown on "Believe" and Luke Combs on "Brand New Man." The album will also include duets with Kacey MusgravesThomas RhettBrett YoungLancoAshley McBrydeMidlandBrothers OsborneCody Johnson and Tyler Booth.

Reboot is due out on April 5; the album will be Brooks & Dunn's first release since 2007's Cowboy Town. The duo announced in 2009 that they were splitting up, after more than 20 years together; their Last Rodeo Tour concluded on Sept. 3, 2010, at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, but they reunited five years later for a still-running Las Vegas residency with Reba McEntire.
