So there are a lot of small town in the state of Missouri.  Including the town of Gallatin.  The population of this town according to the 2020 Census is a little more than 1800 people.  It is the county seat of Daviess County.  It is a little more than 2 hours from Sedalia.  Not as far as Branson, but not as close as Kansas City.

It is also where Joe Millionaire calls home. The new reboot of the reality show is Thursday nights on FOX at 7pm.  Joe Millionaire - For Richer Or Poorer.  You can also find it on Hulu.

His name is Steven McBee.  And he has a net worth of about 10 Million dollars.  He is looking for love.  He is the founder and president of a farming operation called McBee Farm and Cattle Company.  Its central theme? A sincere love for the land, and the responsibility to future generations to leave the ground in better condition than we found it.  I trust a lot of farmers can relate to that.

He describes himself as a mama's boy, and has a lot of love for his family.  Not surprisingly he loves the outdoors.  And he is on the show because he is genuinely looking for love.  "I'm looking for someone that's [in it] for richer or poor, for better or worse, there's gonna be good times and bad" McBee said.

Thankfully for us, he is a big fan of country music.  Cody Johnson and Morgan Wallen are a few of his favorites.  On the first episode of the show, he went on a group date at a honkytonk and looked to be in his element.

I have been a fan of reality TV since the TV show Survivor hit our televisions in 2000.  Yes, some of the stuff is scripted to some extent, and I realize that many people are skeptical about people who get on these shows. Are they looking for their 15 minutes of fame?   Perhaps.  For some reason, on what I have seen so far from Steven, he seems to be going into this with an open mind.  And if it highlights a bit of his background and how hard work pays off, I think it will be entertaining.  If he can weed out the women who appear to be gold-diggers, or are not there for the right reasons, then good for him.

I wish him well.  These days, you can meet people anywhere.  Online, at work, shopping.  If you meet the right person, you meet the right person. Check out the show, at least for one episode and see what you think.  Hope he finds love....and if marriage plans are in the future, I hope he gets a prenup.
