Jo Co Sheriff’s Office At Active Homicide Scene In Warrensburg
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office, Warrensburg Police, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are conducting an active homicide investigation in Warrensburg this afternoon, November 9, 2023.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office News Release says the agencies are conducting an active homicide investigation in the 200 block of S Highway 13 in Warrensburg and that there is a significant police presence in the area.
Police are also asking anyone with information related to the investigation to come forward. They're also asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual or suspicious to contact Johnson County Central Dispatch at 660-747-5511. They believe the public's assistance could be crucial to advancing the Sheriff's Office investigation.
No other information is available at this time. The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says they will release more information as it becomes available and is appropriate to share with the public.
