A Lincoln man was injured in a four-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that three northbound vehicles were stopped at a red light on Highway 65 at Redbar Road around 5:20 p.m., when a northbound 2003 Ford Explorer, driven by 28-year-old Dustin L. Renfro of Lincoln, struck the rear of a 2006 Chevy Silverado, which in turn, struck a 2012 Chevy Equinox, which struck a 2021 Dodge Ram.

Renfro suffered serious injuries and was transported by PCAD to University of Missouri Hospital.

Renfro was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The Dodge Ram had minor damage, the Chevy Equinox had moderate damage and the Explorer and Silverado were totaled.

The Dodge Ram was driven from the scene, while all others were towed.
